Bonded Luggage

British luxury luggage brand marks the 40th anniversary of James Bond’s Octopussy with a new limited-edition collection.

If you’re looking for a travel essential that stands you apart from the other urban warriors waiting at the carousel, you’re in luck with the newest additions to Globe-Trotter’s James Bond homage. The British luggage brand, which has had a long collaboration with the thriller franchise, has released three cases and a luggage tag, each decorated with eye-catching octopus designs inspired by the art of Maciek Piotrowski and paying homage to villain Octopussy’s silk robe, which she wears when encountering 007 on her floating island in India.

The range includes a four-wheel carry on case, a four-wheel check-in case, and a streamlined take on the brand’s attache case. All three are constructed from Globe-Trotter’s signature vulcanised fibreboard, which is made up of 14 layers of recycled paper bonded with zinc, ensuring lightweight and durability. In addition, the three new arrivals boast hand-crafted leather corner protectors, metal accents, carbon steel locks, and, in the case of the carry-on and check-in cases, extendable handles.
