Qatar’s national carrier used its attendance at the opening day of the Kuwait Aviation Show to announce new destinations for the Qatar Airways 2020 network.
The eight new destinations for Qatar will be join our airline’s network this year, in addition to the recently announced gateways of Santorini, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Osaka, Japan.

Other exciting new destinations for the Doha-based airline include a twice-weekly service to Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, commencing March 30; two weekly flights to Kazakhstan’s largest city, Almaty, starting in April, with scope to double the frequency by May 25; three-weekly flights to Cebu in the Philippines; daily services to Accra, the capital of Ghana, commencing in April; new flights to Trabzon in Turkey kicking off in May; and a five-weekly service to Lyon, France starting June 23.
The airline will also add Luanda, Angola, in October; and Siem Reap in Cambodia, in mid-November.
